Rhodochrosite in its rare & pure form, it is typically a rose-red color, but impure specimens can be shades of pink to pale brown.

Rhodochrosite is Argentina’s “national gemstone” and is sometimes called “Rosa del Inca”, “Inca Rose” or Rosinca

Found in Argentina, Uruguay, Russia, South Africa, Romania, Mexico, Japan and the USA, it is also called as the Inca Rose gemstone. Known for harmony, empathy and spreading love.  Its vivid pink to rose-red colors are caused by the presence of manganese, and it is distinguished by its layers of white to light pink banding.
